Style seems to come before comfort for Eva Mendes. The actress who plays opposite Will Ferrell in "The Other Guys" was spotted going on a hike at Los Angeles' Griffith Park Observatory with alleged new boyfriend Ryan Gosling last Sunday, September 18, but without any sensible walking shoes.

One eyewitness told PEOPLE, "Eva wasn't dressed for the dirt road hike and she walked slowly in her sandals." The 37-year-old beauty donned a loose, blue mini-dress with a pair of chunky platform sandals. Though so, the observer said, "Ryan didn't seem to mind the slower pace and they ... both looked very happy."

The new pair were seen enjoying the romantic hike just two weeks after they were snapped hugging and kissing when going on a date to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. A witness told Us Weekly at the time, "She would lean into him and she held his arm the entire time." The source also claimed that she even fed him.

Adding more to the romance story, PEOPLE reported that 30-year-old Ryan has been visiting Eva "as often as he can". One source further spilled, "The couple have enjoyed many quiet nights with delivery food, and have also been spotted on casual strolls in Eva's Los Feliz neighborhood."

In another news, Eva was reported to have experienced a stalker scare recently. According to TMZ, the Sand Saref of "The Spirit" noticed she was followed by someone when driving through Hollywood on Tuesday (September 20) night. It was said that she was so scared that she drove to a police station for help.

However, officers couldn't find the culprit when they scoured the area for suspects. Nonetheless, police provided Eva an escort home for a safety measure. It is still unclear whether the stalker was a paparazzi or an overzealous fan.

"They were canoodling around 1:30 a.m.," the eyewitness tells Life & Style. "They were holed up in a corner on the first floor."This isn't the first time Ryan, 30, has fallen for an older co-star. Before meeting the 37-year-old Eva on the set of their new flick The Place Beyond the Pines, Ryan mixed business and pleasure with Sandra Bullock, 47, while filming Murder by Numbers in 2002. And just two years later, he revved up a long-term romance with Rachel McAdams, 32, his co-star in The Notebook.

And Disneyland seems to be Ryan's go-to place for a first date. Before taking Eva there over Labor Day weekend, he took Gossip Girl star Blake Lively. He also took actress Kat Dennings to the California landmark in 2009. "Disney is just a really incredible place," he's said.

Ryan insists his career comes before love ("I'm currently too focused on my career to date anyone. I'm in a committed relationship with film; I'm giving as much to it as a marriage," he says), but it seems like he may be making an exception for Eva. "They were obviously together," adds the eyewitness. "They looked really into each other."

Fresh off her sensual trip to Disneyland with Ryan Gosling, hottie-boom-bottie Eva Mendes is starring in a commercial for Thierry Mugler’s originally named new fragrance, Angel. This commercial is somewhat confusing, but look how pretty.

We open on Ms. Mendes riding in a high speed train as her other self watches from the outside. She sprays a puff of the perfume on herself, which triggers a hallucinatory dream sequence in which she is wearing a pretty dress and floating among colored lights. Is there wind in this dream dimension? You bet there is. Oh wait, what’s that? It’s a magic ball of light. It’s Tinkerbell! She brings Tinkerbell back to reality with her, where she multiplies into several Tinkerbells.What will become of the human race?

Strange faerie magic aside, the most unrealistic thing about this commercial is how hot she looks while she’s sleeping sitting up on the train. She’s not drooling or anything. Nobody looks that good while sleeping on a train, not even Eva Mendes.

After meeting on the set of their new flick, The Place Beyond The Pines, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have fallen head-over-heels for each other, we are happy to report. According to on-set sources, the couple were often seen heading off together when filming on the eagerly awaited production ceased for the day. Our source says, “There was clearly some on-screen chemistry that developed to after filming hours.”“Everybody could see that they got on like a house on fire. They are a really lovely couple.”

Ryan has a thing for his leading ladies. He famously hooked up with Sandra Bullock when they filmed Murder By Numbers and he’s well known in Hollywood for his wandering eye. She might be renowned for her sultry good looks and glamorous style but Eva Mendes proved she can still look sexy in grunge while filming beside Ryan Gosling yesterday. The actors were shooting scenes for The Place Beyond The Pines and both transformed into rugged characters on set. Eva showed off her incredible figure in torn denim shorts and a blue cotton vest, which she accessorised with hippy-inspired bracelets and necklaces.

While Gosling channelled his inner motorcyclist for the role by sporting fake tattoos, jeans and a sleeveless T-shirt and bleach-blonde hair. The pair have been filming on location in Schenectady, New York, as have their co-stars Bradley Cooper and Rose Byrne. The Derek Cianfrance-directed film, which won’t be released until 2013, is centred around a motorcyclist stuntman [Gosling] who considers turning to crime to provide for his wife [Mendes] and child. But his actions put him on a collision course with policeman-turned-politician Avery Cross, who will be played by Bradley Cooper.

And Bridesmaids actress Rose Byrne has been cast as Cooper’s on-screen wife after replacing Greta Gerwig. Meanwhile, Despite 37-year-old Eva Mendes looking incredibly fit in her on-screen ensembles, she has insisted that she loves bread and pasta. Unlike many Hollywood stars who avoid carbohydrates, Eva told Zest magazine that she likes to maintain a healthy diet, but doesn’t cut out many food groups. If actress Eva Mendes ever quits her day job, she can slide right into a gig as a waitress at a diner. The Times Union of Albany reports (http://bit.ly/q5Kcri ) Mendes picked up some pointers earlier this month while working alongside the staff at the Route 7 Diner in suburban Albany. Most of the scenes for her new movie — "The Place Beyond the Pines" — are being filmed in nearby Schenectady.

She returned earlier this week for scenes shot inside the diner, along with co-stars Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper. Gosling plays a motorcycle stunt rider who starts robbing banks after he learns he has fathered a child with Mendes. Cooper plays the detective out to catch him. Diner manager Colleen Noble says only a few of the restaurant's customers recognized Mendes when she worked a four-hour shift.

She said: 'I hit the gym three to four times a week to do light weights - not too many repetitions - which target my whole body, and some serious cardio - normally sprinting and interval running. 'The minimum I do cardio for is 35 minutes, but you can get a lot done in that time if you use it wisely. And then I spend about an hour on the weight training. 'I also do yoga twice a week. It’s mostly astanga, but my yoga instructor creates a programme for me based around what I need - so if my muscles are tight from running, we’ll do poses to open everything up.'Her exercise regime means Eva has honed a lithe, but still feminine, figure she is incredibly proud of.

Talking of the parts of her body she likes the most, Eva told Zest: 'I like my arms - I thank my dad for my long monkey arms, although, thankfully, mine aren’t as hairy as his! 'One of my best attributes is that I consider other people’s feelings a lot, which I think is pretty cool, especially for an actress.'But despite her refreshingly grounded approach to staying fit and healthy, Eva said she still isn't sure she can be classed as a 'role model'.

She said: 'The term role model scares me a little because I’m still such a work in progress. 'But if I can encourage women to embrace themselves and celebrate their strengths rather than getting down about what they don’t have, that’s great. If that’s what being a role model means, then I’m OK with that.'

In the new shoot, Eva is seen wearing Reebok EasyTone trainers and apparel throughout, and admits she is a huge fan of the fitness brand. She said: 'I’ve been wearing Reebok since back in the day!
