It’s an all too common of an issue in Hollywood, and Eva Mendes is looking to put her stalker problem to an end. The “Hitch” babe has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who believes the two are in a relationship and who claims Eva is “willing” to die for him.
A 39-year-old man by the name of John C. Luna began harassing the actress in 2008 and has since sent numerous notes and audio recording, including one that announced plans to move to California with her. After Luna showed up Mendes’ Los Angeles, CA home last week, she decided to take action. "As a result of Mr. Luna's conduct directed at me ... including references in a letter that he knows I am willing to die for him, and his showing up at my house on May 31st, 2011, looking for me," Mendes states in the complaint, "I am in constant fear."The order requires her stalker to stay at least 100 yards away from her, as well as her home, car and anywhere she may work.
