They've only been dating a few short months, but Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are already having problems. Eva has told Ryan to stay away from his "Gangster Squad" costar Emma Stone -- but she still hasn't completely cut ties with her former live-in boyfriend, George Gargurevich, The National Enquirer is reporting.
"Eva flipped out when she saw photos of Ryan getting cozy with Emma on the set of their movie 'Gangster Squad,'" an "insider" dishes to the mag. "Ryan claimed they were in the middle of filming a scene , but Eva still got upset. She demanded that Ryan stay away from Emma when the cameras aren't rolling."
Ryan usually dates older women, and Emma is (if everyone's being honest about their ages) eight years younger than he is, so the six-years-older Eva probably doesn't have anything to worry about. But at the same time, Emma does seem willing to attach herself to costars to get more press -- she's supposedly dating her "Amazing Spider-Man" love interest Andrew Garfield, and she and Ryan got cozy on the "Crazy, Stupid, Love" red carpet earlier this year -- so Eva might want to keep an eye on her.
But Eva still hasn't completely cut ties with George, who is still living in her home even though they broke up last year, and the obviously upset Ryan flew to Paris, where she's currently filming, to talk things through.
"Ryan got so fed up that he threatened to dump Eva," The Enquirer's source says. "Things got nasty until Eva convinced George to crash with a friend. But George still keeps his belongings at Eva's place and they talk almost daily. ... Ryan decided that since Paris is the city of love, it would be the perfect place to prove his love and hopefully talk Eva into letting George go for good."
Ryan doesn't seem like the "prove his love" sort. But either way, if they've only been together a few months and they're already threatening to break up and forbidding each other to see costars, this relationship is doomed. Ryan has been linked to a few different women in the past year so he's probably not looking for a serious relationship anyway, but chances are good these two won't last much longer.
